Job Description
· Ensures achievement of strategic objectives - revenue, cost and service.
· Ensures smooth pharmacy operations at the facility.
· Ensures compliance of pharmacy with licensing and certification needs.
· Coordinates with physicians, advice and provide information on new drugs and products.
· Ensures Vendor management or development – maintains relationship with vendors/manufacturers.
· Develops and implements the SOPs for smooth pharmacy & store operations.
· Develops pharmacy-auditing tools.
· Participates actively in the creation of the Hospital formulary.
· Liaisons with other functional areas of the organization to implement an effective Material Management System.
· Monitors of infrastructure needs of the department
· Prepares the annual Pharmacy budget under the supervision of the reporting manager
Takes part in the recruitment and Performance Appraisal/ Management of the staff in the department.
- Arrange training of pharmacists/ team members.
- Identifies skill, competency levels of subordinate and work for continuous resource development.
Any other duties assigned by the reporting manager
Job Objective
To manage Pharmacy as a profit center through seamlessly integrated processes. Manage entire operations & delivery of pharmacy services and fulfill the medication requirements across the Hospital
Qualification
D Pharma/B Pharma with MBA
Experience
7-10 years
