Our department offer integrated therapies to patients after joint replacement surgery, in cases of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis for optimal outcome
We collaborate with the Institute of Neurosciences to manage lower back pain, especially in patients unsuitable for surgery. Such patients have shown remarkable progress with our treatments with minimal recurrence. Additionally, we also work on migraine management, utilizing a combination of yoga, dietary adjustments, and Ayurvedic remedies to effectively address this condition.
Medanta's Ayurveda Department collaborates closely with cardiologists and cardiac surgeons to reverse early-stage heart diseases. This involves integrating diet, Ayurvedic medicines, and yoga into treatment plans of patients. The department also works closely with the Critical Care Unit and integrates yoga before and after surgery to assess outcomes. Additionally, Ayurvedic methods are used to manage intense pain caused by nerve entrapment in patients who have undergone open-heart surgery.
Mucositis, a common side effect of head and neck cancer radiation treatment, causes painful mouth and gastric inflammation. Medanta uses simple triphala and kiratatikta decoctions for gargling, aiding countless patients with positive results.
