Special Initiative by Medanta Super Specialty Hospital on World Health Day: Free Multi-Specialty Health Camp in Ujjain

Indore, April 5, 2024. Health is the most significant priority worldwide, and to raise awareness about it, April 7 is celebrated as World Health Day by the World Health Organization every year. Contributing to this effort, Medanta Super Specialty Hospital in Indore, renowned for its world-class healthcare services across central India, is organizing a free multi-specialty health camp in Ujjain on Sunday, April 7, 2024. This health camp will be held at S.N. Krishna Hospital in Ujjain from 10 AM to 2 PM, where heart, liver and stomach, kidney, arthritis, and gynecology specialists from Medanta Super Specialty Hospital will be available for consultations. Dr. Sandeep Shrivastava, Medical Director and Director of Cardiac Sciences, Heart Institute at Medanta Super Specialty Hospital, said, “Many people around us struggle with serious health issues but are unaware of them. The best way to prevent diseases is to have as much information as possible about them. If treatment is started in time, the condition of any patient can be improved. The aim of this free consultation camp is to raise awareness about health problems, their prevention, and treatment.” During the health camp, Dr. Sandeep Shrivastava, a heart specialist, will check and provide consultations for health issues such as valve problems, holes in the heart, chest pain, heaviness, shortness of breath, fatigue, irregular heartbeat, chest burning, anxiety, holes in the heart in young children, valve problems, and cyanosis. Dr. H.P. Yadav, a liver and stomach specialist, will offer consultations on diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy/colonoscopy, EUS, ERCP, third space surgery, liver diseases, pancreatic and biliary diseases, IBD, colitis, intestinal bleeding, obstruction, and other stomach ailments. Dr. Jay Singh Arora, a kidney specialist, will guide patients on issues such as elevated creatinine, foamy/burning/bloody urine, protein in urine, infections, uncontrolled blood pressure, BP under 40, kidney size issues in children, urine problems, hemodialysis, fistula problems, and kidney transplants. Dr. Gautam Raj Punjabi, an arthritis specialist, will provide consultations on joint pain, swelling, stiffness, deformity, knee pain and swelling, back and neck pain and stiffness, muscle pain throughout the body, skin rashes, recurring mouth ulcers, blue, white, or black fingers and toes, and dry eyes and mouth. Dr. Akanksha Yadav, a gynecology specialist, will offer consultations on pre-pregnancy care, infertility, urinary and genital infections, uterine TB, various gynecological surgeries, uterus and breast cancer screenings, high blood pressure, thyroid issues, anemia, and recurrent pregnancy loss.
