Doctors at Medanta break the world record again: Performed 30 Total knee surgeries in 12 hours On Nov 7 2011, Dr. Ashok Rajgopal, Chairman Medanta Bone & Joint Institute created a new record of performing 30 Total knee replacement surgeries in less than 12 hours. An earlier world record was created by Dr. Rajgopal on 24th march 2009, wherein he performed 24 Total knee replacement surgeries in less than 12 hours; which exists in the Limca book of world records.
